Things are very different in Spain from the UK and Ireland and so buying without an Estate Agent is a wise move and one that is very simple to do. If you make an offer to us for our property and we accept, a local solicitor will do everything for you, usually for very little money. In contrast, an Estate Agent sees you as a source of commission and is never working for you. If you don't believe it, I advise you to book a viewing trip with an Estate Agent and on the first day make it clear you have no intention of buying this time.
